LT1 water pump

I am away from my car for a few days and I want to order an electric water pump. Does anyone know the size of the hose that goes into the water pump so I can order the right size hose adapter fitting as well. engine is a 95 lt1 Thanks

EWP does not come as a whole unit, you need to dissasemble your old unit, put the electric motor in, and then seal it up. I personally like the CSR pump. In this case your old housing will be used, eliminating the need for any extra parts/adapters. Just don't forget to buy a relay kit for it as well.

thanks. I am going over to a double roller timing chain. The factory unit will clear all right then?

I think double rollers clear the timing cover with grinding. If not wouldn't the opti/WP have to move outward in that case? Then you would certainly need spacers for the WP.
