Cannot find them on Ebay right now, but i used the 30$ swap plated in my 89 and they were straight up like what i s in that link you posted, it works, but the 1 inch set back i just got for my 86 TA will be better, they were about 45$, so be patient and watch Ebay for them to pop up unless you want to spend 55$ or so. But they work great.

idk if those will work, I know the old style wont the spohn ones do fit. the spacer is from gm and i think a few other company's use them too. gm used the spacer on 4l80e and the 6.0 on 2000? and newer trucks honestly this stuff is asked every 2 weeks

Re: ls motor mount adaptor
The 1 inch set backs are supposed to retain the actual stock trans location. So that would be your best bet, you doing EFI or carbed?
If carbed, my budget thread i did the other day can give insight on new and used:

These are the mounts you want and are some of the best priced one around. The 1" setback mounts will keep your transmission very close to the stock location.

The bellhousing of your stock transmission will bolt right up to your 5.3, but it requires a change for the torque converter to bolt up correctly. The truck motors came with two different flexplates, one is flat and one is curved (i think most 5.3's came with the curved flexplate). If you have the curved one you can just buy this hughes adapter and press in the rear of the crank. You will also have to egg out the torque converter bolt holes in the flexplate to make it work with the old style converter.
