few question the sticky doesnt answer
iv rear the sticky and searched but i havent found what im looking for, im going to be replacing my 2.8 with a lt1. after i do this i know i need new moter mounts, harness, computer, tranny, springs. but what i need help on is the little other stuff. what i get my springs do i need to do the rear springs aswell or will they be fine with the v6 springs still back there? when i do the tranny do i need to change out the tranny cross member? sway bars? shocks and struts dont matter i hope. reason i say that is i just replaced my rear shocks and will be replacing the struts and strut mounts in the spring.

I'm 99% sure that your existing crossmember will still work,
In answer to your question about the springs, The change in springs is to compensate for the extra weight of the v8 block. Shouldn't effect the back end of the car in any significant way

So all I need is the fronts? I might do the rears if I have the extra. I'm hoping someone will chime in that has the v8 cross member and can verify that idontbneed a new one

I assume you're talking about the V6 to V8 sticky. You'd better read the LT1 swap sticky as well.
Some people keep the V6 front springs. If your LT1 has aluminum heads and if you delete AC, your V6 front springs may work. I used V6 front springs for my LS1/T56 swap, and kept the V6 rear springs for the LS1/4L60E swap.
I don't seem to have a good stance pic of the LS1/4L60E. Here's the LS1/T56:
