Well , after I melted #7 piston on my 5.3 turbo, I decided to sell the whole set before my deployment. Now I faced with a choice " built" ls1 or get a 6.0 and build it myself. I can most like get this ls1 for 2500. What would you guys do? Here are the specs on the build.

2001 Built ls1 for sale. Engine is still sitting on stand. Rods have been weighed and balanced. minus water pump. Yeah its on there, was going have to my bubby check it but everyone of my friends say just get the 6.0

I believe you have to get all new accessories with the 6.0 don't you?

build a 6l and dont look back.if you decide to go turbo or heavy nitrous..the 5.3/6.0 is the block of choice aside from getting an lsx block.the extra 80lbs of weight means nothing for strength/reliability with high hp compared to the ls1 block
