lt1 swap throttle cable 1992 camaro
After doing some research on the forum i found that a 1992 camaro tpi throttle cable would work, so i ordered one from oreillys that i found to be too short. The car is a 1992 camaro rs that was orginally tbi 305, im swaping in a 1995 lt1/t56. At this point im a little lost, does the cable bracket need to be moved back or do i need to get a cable from another application? Thanks

I used a universal braided steel throttle cable. I welded a fender washer over the original hole in the the fire wall to step the inner diameter down to a usable size.

I used the cable for a '93 z28. It took a little modifying to get it to fit the hole in the firewall correctly (iirc it's narrower than the '92 setup), but it works perfectly.
