Oil pan lsx

Hi, what oil pan is best for clearance in these cars? Swapping a 408 lsx . It seems that te gm retro fit one still hangs to low? Will I have to do any cutting with a stock f body pan? And will the f body windage tray clear a stroker ? Any help would be appreciated

Re: Oil pan lsx

LS1 Fbody fits great, C6 LS2/3 pan fits better, but only if you have a tubular K-member
Shim the windage tray with a few washers to clear the crank. Fbody pan will require light grinding inside to clear the first journal of rod bolts
