LSA in IROC - Hood Clearance

LSA in IROC - Hood Clearance
So I've got a sale pending on an LSA/TR6060 setup to swap into my IROC but the one thing that has me trigger shy is the fact that I want to keep the car looking stock on the outside. I'm reading about clearance issues with the LSA in our cars which will require a cowl hood (which I don't want).
I've heard a couple work arounds are to shave the cooling fins off the supercharger and/or use spacers when installing an aftermarket tublar K-member. Any thoughts on these two solutions? Will one of these on their own get my the clearance I need to keep my stock hood? Is one preferred over the other? Any insights will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

One of those new LT4 might fit. I hear it is less than an inch taller than the LT1.

Depends what lid your going to run if you want stock hood or not ctsv should clear and that's dependent on motor mounts used and K member used etc
Lt4 should clear also lid is flatter

Re: LSA in IROC - Hood Clearance
Specific to the LSA, those things are tall up front. shaving the fins gives 3/4" or so at best. custom mounts to lower it are an option, standard mounts I highly doubt will let you clear a stock hood. It would likely take a combination. I do a lot of LSA swaps at work, but specifically to late model trucks and Camaros, along with an occasional SS sedan. My TA is getting one most likely, but I have a 93-97 style ram air hood because I knew it wouldn't clear the stock hood.

Yes, the newer Heartbeat is lower than the older TVS 2300. And the Corvette model is the lowest amongst the model line.
