Looking good, that will be a blast to drive.
How long have you been working on the swap?
I like the engine painted orange,it makes look like a sbc at first glance.

Re: Single car garage ls swap

Iv been working on it since June the biggest hold up is getting parts delivered in a timely manor, the bmr k member took two months to get. I was very happy with psi conversions they shipped the stand alone harness fast, The bulk summit order including the giant hooker boxes was comical completely blocking my apartment door looking like gear head Christmas, It must have sucked being the ups guy that had to carry all of it up three flights of stairs.

I love that psi harness, it’s not too expensive and makes the swap so much easier. 5.3’s are great too. You get the best of both worlds, way cheaper than a 6.0 and more stroke than a 4.8👍. Looking forward to seeing it come together.

Yeah 5.3s are a steal, Picked one up on craigslist for $450 complete with harness ecm and accessorys. I didn't want to deal with modding the stock harnesses for ev1 injectors and car coils. I'm dreading stripping down the body harness.

Nice looking Trans Am! Of course I'm partial to the Red/Silver combo also. I know the pain of working in a small space but looks like you're getting it done!

I had the autozone balancer installer break off in the crankshaft but
a cobalt drill bit and a easy out took care of it but man that made me queasy.
