I just rebuilt my a/c -heater box and it was in the bag with all the screws for it. But can’t see anywhere it went. Box now works fine.

My OEM HVAC stuff is out of the car and I looked through it last night and could not find a part that looked like. So I don't think it is from there, especially since you say it is working just fine.
