drive by wire to drive by cable for lh6 5.3

okay so i’m very new to this engine swap stuff so don’t bash me but i bought a 2005 denali with an lh6 in it for $300, i plan on swapping it in my 86 trans am with my 700r4. this engine has dbw and i was looking at converting to dbc for the sheet metal intake and my kick down for the trans but i don’t know if my ecm is compatible i’m pretty sure i have the e40 ecm. i was doing some research and it seems hit or miss if the ecm has iac or not, any help would be appreciated.

Check out LT1Swap.com
There's a whole section about PCM compatibility AND how to wire in TPS and IAC for this.
The TV cable will be the biggest problem. i will post more info on here once i have mine completed.

Can't do it. LH6 is a Gen IV engine, and was never offered with cable throttle.
The only way would be to swap cranks or reluctor, and change to a Gen III PCM.
