PSI conversions, Speartech, and Painless (less plug and play). All will require some simple wiring into the OEM system.

LSXMatt on Youtube (And formerly the forum) has a good few videos on what it takes going into these cars.

AC and chassis harness are separate and you can retain the stock ones. For an LS swap you will be replacing the engine harness and providing power to the harness and ECM. Depending on what exact set-up you do, will determine how you retain functionality of the gages. There are some good wiring writeups in the stickies at the top of the forum.

If you're on Facebook, look up Nathan Wei. He posts on some of the thirdgen pages and does custom harnesses. No personal dealings with him, but his harnesses look great in the pics he posts and there are usually comments from people who have dealt with him.

Is he is still willing to make them I agree with this route. I have seen his custom harnesses in person and they are incredible thorough to your specific needs. There is a higher cost of entry, but truly plug and play into the 3rd gen platform.

He will make it 100% what you need. He doesn't always make them so you'll have to catch him at a good time and or look to one of the other afore mentioned suppliers.

I recommend avoiding any of those dirt cheap Chinese harnesses

I stopped doing mail order harnesses when I opened my shop. Simply wasn't enough time to focus on both

is it drive by wire by?
If punkmaster's harness is for a 90-92 car then it will work for your 92. Just change to a DBC TB. Gen III DBW is a nightmare to troubleshoot anyways. GEN IV isn't much better
There is a minor difference between 90-92 V6/TPI and 90-92 TBI, but it's something you can do as an end user with a small screwdriver and short length of wire

I own a shop in Lexington NC. If you want to bring the car down, I'll be happy to wire it through the business. I am not doing mail order harnesses anymore though

Lexington is a hick for me from Raleigh. What is the shop name and I will keep it in my phone in case I hit a snag and need a shop for help.
