Re: cold air intake

Make your own if you can. I had some 4" spectre aluminum tubing tig welded together with their MAF sensor welded in. You can get all kinds of bends. If you don't want to be that fancy you can buy rubber elbows from various places online, stick a tube in (Spectre makes one with the MAP mount welded in) and add a filter of your choice.

Shifty is right - these are pretty easy to fabricate on your own.
Spectre's website shows all the different pieces that are available - there's a ton:

here's a picture of one i made using their pieces on my old '72 camaro

Re: cold air intake

Just don't put the filter off to the side of the engine bay. That's not cold air.

The filter end needs to get air from completely outside the engine bay.

Re: cold air intake

the MAP is mounted anywhere on the actual intake manifold.
The MAF needs to be in the intake pipe.
IF you have a radical cam, and are SD tuned, wire in an LS1 AIT and put that into the intake tube, or behind the throttle body in the intake manifold.

Re: cold air intake

I keep a few cheapo silverado intakes in stock like this. Use it like a parts kit, not a direct fit part. Throw the filters away as they're huge and terrible. Buy generic K&N 4" for $30

Cut the mounting tabs off and polish the areas after. Mix/match couplers. Buy better worm clamps from lowes (dryer vents), they're much tougher than the chinesium ones

Can make some really nice intakes from those kits for not much money

Amazon Amazon

These are all based on those cheapo kits

I went with siliconeinntakes.com. Got everything but the filter there.
