What happened to your hood? Also, how do you guys know each other?

 

nice pics man, did u paint the rims urself or have a body shop do them?

 

the hood was sunfaded and starting to rust so id rather save it and prime it like the whole top half of the car due to the crappy factory paint....and we know eachother cuz where friends and chill all the time...i got him into thirdgens lol

me and xtharo86x did them lol nice spray paint job wont last long but i can always respray it.

put some meguires "hot rims" alum. polish on that lip

 

i painted them as well as the headlight buckets

 

cool, I met another thirdgen last weekend. He has a built 305, with cams, headers, chip, and some other stuff. We raced and I beat him by quite a bit. Nice guy though, we have been going out cruising Friday and Saturday nights. We might replace the door pins together because we both need to get it done anyway. Nice guy. Anyway, I am glad I finally met another thirdgen owner in chico who's car isn't a piece of crap.

Yeah. You'd be surprised at how many wheels cebter section will swap.

I put 94-96 Impala SS 17" on my 97 Tahoe (just had to trim the bottom of the front lower a-arms because of the deep backspacing) and used those SS S10 center caps, to get rid of the Impala logos on the center caps. I got lucky, and made a straight trade! He even shipped me his SS S10 ones, I swapped them, then shipped him my Impala SS ones, yet we only knew each through the discussion on the internet, about trading.

Nice wheels, distracts you well from the dent behind the driver's door. How'd that happen?

 

to tell you the truth....i have no idea, when i got the car it was there. how u put a dent in that part of the car amazes me....

 

Its tough to fix, i had one in my 85. Yours is in an easier spot to fix, mine was further down where it starts to curve, and the metal is welded to another peice. Probably a biker, or a shopping cart incident. If you pulled off the speaker cover, you could probably hammer it out from the inside.
