Now thats a sharp looking third gen! Where'd you get the new camaro cloth from? I thought it was almost impossible to find.
How many miles does that car have on it?

Re: On The Road Again
Dual-Gate works fine for speed shifting as long as you kind of push it up and to the right as you shift. B&M Mega-Shifter is better as a ratchet type but has flimsy back-up and neutral safety switches. Dual uses OEM neutral/backup switch and mounts without cutting console.Overall I like the Dual-Gate better due to installation ease and cosmetic looks. IMAO! As for the interior cloth, it is original. I had to recover side areas and back of seats and kept the OEM centers. I am original owner of car and it has 83000 miles on it. Have spent the last year rebuilding the entire undercarriage and interior of car. All left to do is find a 427 LS7. Drives and handles better than when new. Now it's on to Kansas towing an empty trailer, to steal that beater there.

Great looking car badman. One of my favorite color/interior combos. So your going LS7 huh? You'll probably be the first to go LS7.

Re: On The Road Again
Finding a used LS7 setup has become a chore. Cost for a few I found was outrageous. In no hurry though, maybe one day soon I'll find a decent deal on one. Then, installing it will be an even larger chore.

I hear ya badman. I don't know it would drop in with the dry sump and oil system. I'm not that familiar with the LS7 setup. Other than that it would probably be you regular LSX swap.

Re: On The Road Again
So did you recover the sides of the seats yourself or have it done? If you did it yourself how difficult was it? I've worn a pretty nasty hole in the outside part of my driver seat and I'd like to get it fixed since the rest of the upholstery is pretty much cherry.

Re: On The Road Again
My advice is to have it repaired at an trim shop. Used a local shop and for about $175.00, they replaced the side panels and rear panels and steam cleaned the front and rear seats.Sewing seats is for the pros to do.
