Mmmmm, sexy...

Since I'm taking Krista's car on a cruise tomorrow I had to clean it up today and get it ready. And since I hadn't really taken any pictures of it since it was completely finished with all the decals and stripes, I wanted to show you all what it looks like. :wavey:

I wasn't a huge fan of them until I saw them mounted on her car. Now I love em'.

Just the ones I took this week after I lowered it with a Hotchkis kit. The pictures are kinda sucky though. I haven't washed it since November since I don't drive it during the winter anyways.

I really like the last picture #7. Lower it a bit and it will be 100% Side note: I think a set of 18" irocs paint to look stock would kick some a$$

Re: Mmmmm, sexy...

I agree, number 7 (the last one) was my favorite too. only thing I would have done differently is I would have shaved the antenna, but I seem to say that about all Camaros... either way great looking rides

those aren't paint chips on the front spoiler of the Maroon Iroc in the second pic, thats only the lighting, right?

She's in love with this car. She's been talking about getting an SS hood for it and doing some other small things. It's her baby and she is about as **** about it as I am with my Camaro, which is a good thing. I taught her well

That would look cool. I always loved the stock IROC wheels but felt they were too small.

I hate the antenna on the car. It's a power antenna but it doesn't go down anymore. I wanted to swap it out for a regular black non-power antenna but was told you can't interchange them or you will lose radio reception???

I can't remember the specific paint code but it's a Ford color. I know the Mustang and Explorer came with this color. A guy I know has an '04 Mustang GT this color.

You can swap them out, but why not just repair the power antenna? A repair kit will cost you $25 from a dealer + some white lithium grease and some RTV.

The antenna itself is bent from a carwash (since it wouldn't go down), and overall I think the regular black antennas look better.

BlueZee28,

Wow what a nice car. That is the exact color I wanted my car painted. By the way where did you order you IROC emblems for the sides and the Z28 for the rocker panel from? I think I just found my motivation background screen for my computer. Thanks

Looks awesome. You need to get pics of them together. Is that a SCCC parking pass I see in the window? My wife just graduated from their nursing program last year.

The door decals that say IROC-Z were bought on ebay, and the rocker and rear bumper emblems that say Z28 were bought from Hawksthirdgenparts.com

That was the first thing she did when she bought it off a friend of mine

I don't know if you remember what it used to look like, but it was the bright red (non-metallic). The color we sprayed it is actually a Ford color found on Mustangs and Explorers

This is what it used to look like:
