dusted off the cobwebs and finally got the iroc on the road

finally got the iroc back on the road, it didnt really need much, i just went through the firing order put new plugs in it and fired her up. had a pretty bad vaccum leak but got that fixed so its running pretty smooth now but i think there is still a small leak from the passenger side runner. i broke the motor in it a long time ago and rebuilt the stock 305 and switched motors all in one week then the car sat for over 6 months and i never touched it. it was a good thing though because i got into some different cars and learned alot, its a really good thing it happened the way it did because at the rate i was going i just kept putting money into the car. with it being broke i didnt even think about the car and started building other cars, valuable cars.

heres some pictures, it is a 305 tpi with a l98 cam and adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a 150 shot of nitrous still hooked up.

the bird is coming along great. i am shooting to have it in for paint next week, i have already pre-registered for the turkey rod run in daytona. so this car WILL be there lol. i have alot to do and not much time. but it is coming along great. i finished up the disc conversion and got my wheels and tires mounted. lowered the front with 2" drop spindles and the rear with 2" block kit. these arent the best pictures but they are the most current, im going to pull the motor and detail the engine bay and swap in the five speed when it gets out of paint.

btw thanks for the compliments on the iroc, i forgot how sexy the car is. its been sitting in the corner of the garage for over six months covered in dust. definitely still looking great after a quick wash.

it will do about 70 mph.. but one of the motors lost compression so with only the one motor on it it only does about 40, but it still gets sideways pretty good.

nothing really, ssean92 redid the head gaskets for me and the intake gaskets. it has probably five miles on the car since he did that stuff and that was months and months ago. i would have done it myself but he did it for a great price. plans for it are to pull the motor/transmission and put it in my 67 rs. as soon as i sell my vette i am going to start driving the 95 everyday.
