new project updated

heres some pictures of my new project. let me know what you guys think.

1990 iroc hardtop. l98, g92 , 3.23 gears etc. all original with a engine rebuild.

the car spent it's life in california until last june when the last owner bought it off ebay. i bought it off of him in florida during thanksgiving and drove it to my inlaws in savannah ga. where it is waiting for spring.

the body is perfect minus a bad repaint. the interior is very clean also. the car runs very good but not good enough which brings us to the last picture. it's a LS1 out of a 2002 trans am with 56000 miles.

i am planning on a t-56 trans. still have a few parts to buy but i am starting to collect alot for the swap. i have been doing alot of research for the swap.

Anxious to see some pics and not red-x'es. Curious to see another 1990 IROC, a white one none the less. Keep it clean due to the low production numbers and don't dogg it out. But wait, if you do it'll just make mine that much more valuable...j/k.

Enjoy it, I love my '90.

Re: new project updated

update-

picked up car and less than 3 miles down the road car got t-boned. insurance co. totaled it and have sold the wrecked iroc and bought another iroc.

the new one has 67000 original miles. everthing is original and correct even has factory cd player.(rpo codes confirm).

this one is so nice i don't think i will do the ls1 swap.

first pic is new one and the second pic is totaled iroc.

You must like white IROCS!!
Your old IROC's damage doesnt look that bad! No suprise the ins co totalled it considering its age and value...Hope whoever you sold it to is going to repair it.

Re: new project updated

ya whites my new color. used to be red. i have owned 6 red irocs.

the wrecked iroc pic was taken after they threw a lower control arm on so it would be semi straight. the passenger side suspension was crushed.(panhard bar etc.)

the guy that bought it is going to use the parts on his 3rd gen.

Re: new project updated

I actually talked to a body shop today, he's going to make a house call tomorrow and have a look at the damage and see what we can work out. i gave up on my 91 project. would rather fix this one.
