The 4th gen looks great, the hood doesnt work on thirds. Why would you want a firebird knockoff hood on a Camaro? Looks good, just out of place.

 

Because some cars, when done right, make the hood look really good.

Hey Nick, I did the nightshade and love it but forgot that it got darker as it dried...LOL. I get alot of crap about my hood, but I LIKE it and it sets off the car. I was going to do the hawks 5" spoiler but I don't know now

 

Yea it does dry a bit darker than when it is wet.


You ought to just go with the high-rise '91/'92 spoiler, that would look good.

 

I had been kicking that around also, but finding a good factory one is hard

 

I was at a guy's house on Saturday that lives like 5 minutes from me. He's got a '91 RS with the high rise spoiler, and it's got a LT1 with the CC305 cam and 4L60E and ttops. It's blue with white painted on stripes.He's also got a sunburnt orange metallic '91 Z28 hardtop with an LS6 and 4L60E. He's on team3rdgen.com under 91rslt1. His RS reminded me of your car.

 

I always thought your car ranks in the top 5 of cars on here. The silver? on the hood makes it stand out even more!

If I come across a nice spoiler I will definitly let you know. I about had my heart ripped out, thrown on the ground, and trampled on today...a guy in my local club posted a for sale ad for a complete LQ4 from intake to oil pan and accesories minus the starter and throttle body for $900. That's exactly the kind of deal I need to capitalize on, but with my wedding so close, timing is not in my favor.

 

Man Nick......That had to suck, you will get it when the time is right. The best I got last year was 11.9@116 but that was with 8 degrees of spark retard, I am hoping for 11.5 this year but will have to see.

 

very nice. i like everything about it. too include the hood. never been a fan of painted/blacked out rims but yours match the look perfectly. again, nice ride!
