3vi1p3nguin's build thread
Its been a long time since I've posted, so here's the most recent update. I've got a 350 in the garage instead of the lt1 swap that I had been working on. Its getting a Summit intake, with their billet distributor, its got a General Kinetics cam, that looks fairly new, and I'm debating on getting some domed pistons.
Holes are cut for a t-5 swap. need to find a shifter for that. and I'm pulling the 4th gen axle back out to swap all the parts onto a third gen axle because I didn't like the spacing.

Re: 3vi1p3nguin's build thread
I live in Milan, so I'm a little south of Ann Arbor. She looks a little sad right now. I've got the hood and the back of the car in primer, and plan to start working my way forward after I get it running.

before primer. I filled in the holes in the hood. got it for 115 with black plastics so I couldnt complain. just filled them in.

going under the hood

believe it or not the engine was running when I bought the car it came out of. Idled smooth to. NOS + Morons = Blown Pistons

Home made lever for the shifter. didnt come with the stock one when I bought it

Re: 3vi1p3nguin's build thread

finished the swap, decided I didnt like it after one summer, and put the original back in

and that just came in the mail. $215 sounds like a good price to me

I havent run it at Milan yet. I ran my Acura Integra there once. pulled mid 15s before I played with it, but it was time to go back to rear drive v8s. more satisfying. Unfortunatly I'm kind of at a slow because I'm helping my brother with his 83 z28. he just got it and it needs a little bit of tlc. I'm trying to get him to sign up and post some pics

Looks good!
I actually like the yellow/flat black hood color combo when the paint is fresh.
After my experiences trying to make a 4th gen dash function and look correctly, i shudder every time i see someone getting into a 4th gen dash conversion. Long story short, ive got a thirdgen dash back in my car again.
