Just picked her up yesturday! So far so good, but the motor is a 6 cyl that hasnt been ran in 6 years! Thinking about just tossing a battery in it and starting it up to hear what it sounds like (I have a 350 i am going to drop in it so no biggie if i blow the 6 up)


Its an 85 Berlinetta, has some minor rust on the body which are quarter sizes, interior is black, and in good condition just needs cleaned up! I know i have to get all the brakes done, since when we pushed it off the trailer it didnt want to stop, LOL luckly i was inside and threw it into park before it took out my garage! Will get some more pics and post them up of the interior, and more of the car! Let me know what you all think as i only got it for $200!

Thanks for all the responces fellow third gens! Yes it is actually the factory fiber glass hood! So far so good on it, its down poring where i am at now so i am kinda bumed that i cant get out and get some more pics of it!

I am in Warren, Ohio near Youngstown! Yea dude that had it got it from his dad when he died (left it to him) and he didnt want it! I work with his aunt so she was like i see you are a camaro guy (YUP I AM) and she said well my nephew is getting ready to junk his camaro and its the same body style as my 89 which i have at my moms, i was like "NO TELL HIM NOT TO JUNK IT TIL I LOOK AT IT" went out there last week and saw it he told me $200 and i was there tuesday with a truck, trailer and the cash! There are also a few others floating around in the niles area which is about 5 - 10 mins from where i am that there are only wanting around $500-$1,000 for and they run with minor cosmetic problems, thinking of saving up some more money and buy either both of them or the best one out of them! But will keep pics posted up and will get some of the interior since now it is in my drive and not on the trailer!

Well the weather stoped for a few mins so i took advantage of it and got some more pics!

 

looks solid, but it's not a berlinetta...just a regular sportcoupe. the berlinetta's have different running lights as well as a bunch of other odds and ends...

 

Thought so cause i was looking up some stuff on the 85 year and berlinettas came with v8s! Underneath just needs to be sanded and painted! Surface rust if all with the undercarage of it!

 

not all berlinetta's came with v8's, it was an appearance and suspension package that was supposed to make the camaro into a luxury package...it didn't really catch on so gm scrapped it. the berlinetta package was only available on the sportcoupe though.
