Let me add too; I've seen this car in person and there is ZERO rust anywhere. We haven't removed the carpet yet to see any inside, but the underside of this car looks NEW! Even the spare tire area looks flawless.

Re: first thirdgen!

Nice solid starting point. Even has the foglights, and its all there in great shape. You probably paid right at what its worth. Does it still have the tuned port stuff?

Keep us posted!

Re: first thirdgen!

Sick car, also since this is your first thirdgen, learn some stuff about it.

Sounds like you are going to get it in a good restored condition too!
Good luck, and welcome to this site.

Re: first thirdgen!

That's a nice starting point and I think you paid a fair price. Even though the motor is bad, at least everything is there, which will save you time and money. Car looks very solid and bodylines look good. Nice score.

Re: first thirdgen!

i have just gutted the car and this is all i have found so far, well - the game boy games and money and pumpkin seeds

there was only some small rust in the trunk and even less in the front. and when we pulled the carpet it had water running out of it. so i think i have a good deal on my hands.

Re: first thirdgen!

Congrats! great buy. car looks good. just make sure you go through every nook and cranny for rust. I'd reccomend re-sparyin undercoating under the car for more protection, they should have them in auto stores.

lookin forward to see more pics of progress.
goodluck!
