my 84 z28,

heres my car , its an 84 z28 , it has the H.O.motor with 5spd, it has every option other than the auto.. it is an original 58,000 mile car

Name: z28.jpg

Size: 35.5 KB

this is when i picked it up , took an entire weekend to get it , with flights and driving i slept 3 hours from friday to sunday night..
Name: IMG_2960.jpg

and here it is last spring , i added the c6 rims , gen 5 leather seats, hurst short shifter, magnaflow exhaust, H.I.D. lights, and since this picture i had the car lowered and all bushings replaced with prothane, i love the look alot better ,, but with the urathane bushings ,big rims and the run flat tires it rides like a shurman tank, if i had dentures i would have to pick them up off the floor at every red light ,, im hoping that when i get regular rubber on it the ride with relax a bit..

That's one sweet ride! That's the exact color scheme my '83 used to be. I bet it has the sand gray interior too...

Hey imagine that!...I've had my 90 Z24 since 91. Got it with 1200 miles on it, now it's going on 162,000!! Unfortunately, it's up on jack stands because my exhaust is falling apart. It's so bad, I don't even think I can jury rig it to hold the rest of the winter....and no one sells the whole exhaust pipes anymore.

All I can find is the intermediate pipe between the cat and muffler. Still runs good though. Too bad about your ragtop...those are nice!

Re: my 84 z28,

Very nice car. You say it has 5th gen seats? How did the install go? Any pics as I don't think I've seen a 3rd gen with 5th gen seats yet. Thanks.

Wow, gorgeous car, and sooooo familiar! Yours is an absolutely original survivor, though. Magnificent...
