I need to know whats your favorite Iroc color. And I mean original colors. Because when I do happen to get my car I would like an original color.

I wanted a 91-92 z28 but after seeing the Iroc Idc if I have the high rise spoiler(my reason for wanting 91-92 z)

Please post your pics if you have them and if you don't suggest me a color and I'll search it. I'm starting to fall in love with these cars and I cannot wait until I get mine! I literally spend hours looking at you guys' cars. Thanks and I appreciate it.

Well three of the four third gens I have owned have been black, so I am partial to them. Black and gold is my favorite by far with black and red being my second.

x3 on the silver. That's what I would do if I weren't keeping mine origional. Normally don't lik silver cars but the Iroc decals make the car look really awesome.

Ive got a red Trans Am Firehawk, a Navy Blue metallic ws6 & black with the blue & nearly invisible black body stripe '89 Iroc Z.

Of all the colors I think Black is the most "aggressive" looking if that's what you want and to me always looks good.

If you decide after a while to use aftermarket parts like a cowl hood and maybe a nice set of aftermarket wheels its a good color to work with.

I actually prefer the Ralley Red on "my" car to any other but its custom with Red Pearl added and black Stripes also with Red Pearl.

No sir, Mr. Ron. I love my Iroc in stock configuration, always have. I am a stickler for keeping vehicles stock if the factory does them right. I think they nailed it with the '88-'90 Irocs. Gen 2 Iroc wheels are perfect for those cars. Here is the link to my car, pics & video. As an owner of a Bright Red Iroc.....it wouldn't be my choice now. Bought it 19 years ago.


If I were to buy one, brand new, any color options, I'd get either Silver with Flame Red interior (like GETGONE), or Blue with Beechwood interior.

EDIT....maybe white with red. I like a clean, white car.

Or yellow.

Or mabye bright red with beechwood, like mine. Man I dunno. SOOOOooooo many sharp color combos! not really one I WOULDN'T want!!!!!!!!

A lot about color has to do directly with your personality and your look/style so
I built my car to fit me perfectly. Including color.

If Your style can fit it then Blacks a great color.

Mine is the absolute twin to the black with blue stripe & nearly invisible black body stripe above. You are right about black being beautiful when clean.

Purple (if that's an IROC-Z color and if I would ever buy one). Just because I'd have to get something way different then my Trans Am and other cars.

No purple Irocs were ever built, to the best of my knowledge. There was a purple 3rd gen in '92, I think. Heritage edition. I lost interest in the 3rd gen after the Iroc was discontinued.

I always liked Flame Red Metallic.. it’s sporty, looks super dark in low light, shows the lines of the car nice.. really pops..

I like Black and metallic Blue as well..
