So I am back in the thirdgen ****** life. Picked up a car I like more then the Iroc on the first of october.


Even before I bought the Iroc I had been looking for an 88-90 bird with the features that almost everyone wants. You know exactly what features those are.


She is an 89 Formula, 5 speed, 305 TPI, with t-tops. Runs and drives and is in great condition. I had to drive to Atlanta to pick it up but way worth the drive.


Has every option I wanted and then even a couple extra goodies. Like 3.45 gears.

Thanks Dyno Dave. I'm still looking in my garage every few minutes just to look at it haha. One of the best parts about this purchase is I only paid 3k and everything works. All gauges, shift light, all HVAC. I couldn't be happier.

Ive already driven it more miles in two days then I did with the Camaro in four years.... I took off the smog crap two days ago since the PO put two new magnaflow cats on it and had the a.i.r. pipes cut. Deciding if its worth keeping all that junk or to trash it.


Right now the car is jacked up and im going through everything to see what needs to be done. I replaced the diff cover gasket yesterday since it was leaking and im doing a tune up on it today after work. If I finish the tune up ill get new tires for it tomorrow since the ones on it are 11 years old.


Then I want to start taking it to car shows. It's a blast to drive I didn't think it would be as fun as it is but im loving it.
