Re: 3 Years and finally done

My mother bought this car brand new and it was sitting in the garage since 1991. 3 years ago I had it painted with 2017 Corvette Long beach red paint. Engine is a 377 ci. SBC with forged GM crank, Mahle 12.8:1 pistons, Dart heads ported and polished with 2.10/1.6 valves, roller rockers, Victor Jr. intake, 850Holley quick fuel carb, Tremec 5 speed trans, Strange 12 bolt 3.73 rear, frame connectors and 4 inch exhaust. Engine made 640 hp on the dyno. I don't know what it is at the wheels though.

Very cool color. Did you custom make that radiator shroud?

Re: 3 Years and finally done

awesome dude, great job. I'm curious about the headers/collector/y-pipe setup you are running? Also, is the 4" exhaust the mufflex system, over the axle, with a spintech muffler or is it something different?

I see you are from NJ. I'm up in northern NJ. if you plan on running it at Island Dragway (since now Englishtown is shut down) let me know. Also, if interested, there is a large Nj camaro/firebird forum for local events, classifieds, tech, stuff and we have monthly group events too. www.njfboa.org

Re: 3 Years and finally done

The headers are Doug Thorley ceramic coated long tube and the y pipe is 3 inch from muffled with flow master instead of the spin tech. Everything is from muffled except for the headers. I haven’t even driven the car except for around the block I just got the QQ plates yesterday. I would have loved to take it to Englishtown to see what it could do. Also I am definitely interested in those events you’re talking about. Send me some info if you would please. Thanks
