Love it, nice score man. Have you tried to start it yet? How's the rust situation? Little banged up but it looks like she'll clean up nicely! Can't be too tough to find a replacement white fender either
Any Bondo in it? Appears to have been repaint at some time by the Iroc-z decal on door being in the wrong place and no lower striping. Look like a good cleaning and it will turn into a jewel.
Just saw this, looks like a nice find and will follow along. Car cleaned up nice, I bet that dent could be pulled on the fender by a paint-less dent guy for not a lot of $$

I agree, if you have a good paintless guy, it's amazing what they can do. I've spent hours on YouTube watching the biggest, craziest dents get pulled out with no paint work.
At least she's driving! That fender dent is pretty sassy too but be grateful it's in the fender and not the door or quarter. For what ever reason I ALWAYS end up with mangled doors, which are just a pain to replace
The last couple of weeks have been productive with the Iroc. I got the chance to work with MGW Shifters to develop their first T5 shifter for our cars. Feels like the one in my 4th gen and C6! They did all the work, all I did was install it and test the heck out of it.
There was no modifications or cutting required to anything in the car, and should only take an hour or two to install with basic hand tools. As an added bonus, the dated Hurst T-Handle is gone haha.
I just watched, looked like a good time until the chain broke lol. We used to do that on frozen parking lots or the bay of the local lake back in high school...brings back memories
Thanks for the kind words. Hopefully you consider the following "quality" lol. It is all well intended. If you saw the car in person most people would agree that taking it onto a frozen lake isn't the end of the world to it.
I did make some progress on the Iroc-Z this weekend with a buddy. I got some new valve covers on it, and got the rear lower control arms/panhard bar installed. After that, we put some tire chains on it at a local ice race track and let it eat lol.
Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I had a blast lol. The car did take some unexpected damage when the passenger's side chain came apart and turned a section of chain into a death wheel. Paint took a beating around the quarter panel unfortunately. Out of everything we thought of, I didn't see THAT coming.
That's excellent! Sounds like, with the location, you have a great opportunity there.
Don't discount the YouTube updates. My favorite Cletus McFarland episodes are where they are working on the track he bought. I just subscribed so I can follow any updates.
