Actually, I saved another one. A friend called me and said "Hey, this guy is hauling off old junk cars for scrap. He has a Firebird, the style you like." So, of course I go buy it without even consulting my wife and now it's home! I believe it's an '86, Trans Am, Ws6, posi disc rear, t-tops, TPI, and overall solid and straight. Gave the man $ and he delivered it!!!! I know you folks in the rust belt will probably be ticked but I'm in the south hoarding all of them I find lol!

Well, the car might be an '85, I need to run the vin. I'd guess the gold wheels are likely correct. It has a "performance suspension" badge on the dash. But, I guess it could be F41. Maybe I'll go see if it has an RPO tag.
Ok, no RPO tag. In fact, almost no console. Looks like there was shifter issues before being parked. Anyway, ran the vin#. It's an '86, Trans Am, LB9. It has a late '85 stamping on one front fender, and a '92 stamping on the other. But, I already knew the driver front fender had been replaced cause the paint is newer than the rest of the car. Also the door tag shows 235/60-15 tire specs. It appears to have pretty fat swaybars although I did not put a caliper on them for measurement. It also has the Borg 9 bolt rear, I think of that as a bonus!
