I know where Capitol Raceway is located, i have raced their before. I have yet gone there to run my newest thirdgen. If we can get a bunch of people with their thirdgen's to race i will definitly come up with my car. All this summer i work on Friday's 8 to 4, so i get off at a great time. Pick a Friday any Friday!!
Hey do they make u run only water for coolant still?

why not just race its only 5 bucks more, u dont have to run hard
i am just going to race, but not hard.
The staging lanes are the places to be, thats where all the cars and people are at. Its going to be a great day. If i see any thirdgen i will come by a take a look. This is going to be fun.

I'd be up for a 3rd gen get together at Crapitol. Its kind of hard for me to get a chance to go because of work but maybe I could make it up one of these days.
FWIW, I grew up and lived in Crofton for almost 15 years. Been living in Odenton for about 11 years now.

I ran at capitol last night, my best was 14.6 with a passenger. Plus my car temp was 230, and i had a bad reaction time, with some wheel hop and spinning of tires. But i am still happy with the times.
well i did not see the accident but my friend did because i was about to get ready to race and he said some very fast car like 11 seconds just lost traction and slid one way and went the other and went up the jersey wall on the left in the left lane about 100 or so feet from the starting line. Messed the car up pretty good. It seemed liked a bad day for trouble and that topped off the day, it was like 10:50 so they closed the track right then and there. And a couple hours before that a monte carlo ss i think had some nitrous and he left it running and started his car and blew the dam engine to pieces. The manifold blew off and there was valve springs laying around and his hood had some big dents from parts trying to go through the hood. A pretty weird day on friday.

Your telling me. I was pissed I couldn't spray,so now I have to get a blow down tube. I could have ran a better time off the n2o. I ran a 14.0@ 98mph. I think I can pull atleast a 13.8-13.9 with that 98mph trap speed. My 60 foot wasn't as good either,I pulled a 2.0 instead of a 1.9 like last time. I should have iced the plenum like my brother did. Oh well thats the breaks.
