Finally Liquid Gold - '92 T/A Convert
Well, I wanted to post a few preview pics of the T/A -- painted it last week and still waiting on some details (like the new top), but here's a sneak peek...visit my cardomain site for "before" pics.

What do you guys think of this one?

Patriotism is a good thing! As long as you like it, we like it. At least you have the moxy to get your car painted. If mine doesn't come that way, it ususally doesn't get it.
I like the "dare to be different" philosophy better, anyway!

Well, thanks for the comments. I'm hoping she's road worthy this weekend so I can head to OC -- Steve, if we head that way we'll give you a holler!

No need for new interior on Camaro -- just replaced everything in that one with overhaul. That car is pretty much brand new now except for the frame, lol.
The T/A is going to be my daily driver, so I'm not spending the time or $$$ to make this one perfect. Little things here and there I'll do to get it back to stock and have good pieces where things are broken, but all in all it's in pretty good shape. The hardest part is that some of the body needs to be replaced (bondo'd right now) but there aren't any parts out there for these convertibles...it's driving me quite crazy. Everytime I open the trunk it takes a chunk of paint out where the trunk lid meets the convertible top cover...urgh!

$100!! Sheesh! I guess you would double your money. by the way, if you're looking to avoid the rain, OC may not be the best place right now Laurie, we've had some lovely tourist weather these past wekends. And I thought it was a 350? Or is that your other 92 TA 'vert? Oh well, buying F-bodies is a lot like buying shoes, it's always better to buy two. I know I did.

Steve, LB9(der) is a 305 ...and the other has a Corvette 350, rebuilt to 355 -- I guess that's just from the rebuild, little extra bore. Now, I'm confused -- the RPO Code says LB9, under the hood says 5.7 TPI -- since it's a convertible maybe when it was altered by ASC they swapped engines? Weird.
And -- this weekend for OC (Aug 13-14) how's it looking for tourists?

Mine's an LB9 305, I thought the L98's were the 350's. But this isn't a tech thread. As for this weekend, i don't know, we've had sporadic rain all so far, maybe it'll clear up....yeah...it'll clear up, this weekend is nothing but sunshine, perfect weather for cruisin'.
