Autocross Aug. 24 at FedEx Field
This will be our club's (Autocrossers, Incorporated) last autocross until October. We're running on the "A" lot this year, which is even bigger than the normal lot. Our club has plenty of F Bodies (although mine is the only 3rd gen), but we let other cars run, too. There's also a guy who shows up occasionally with an LT1 in a '92 Camaro.
Any classing questions, just post 'em here.
You don't need anything special as far as safety other than seatbelts and a helmet with a Snell rating of M or S1995 or higher, but we have loaners available.
Sign up through this link. There will be no walk-up registrations so you have to pre-register. You also have to be an SCCA member but there are temporary memberships available.

B: If you're in ESP, you would run in the afternoon group so registration is from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. You want to make sure you get there early so you can unload all the stuff from your car, check in, go through tech and get some course walks in.
C: No air compressor on site. Most people bring their own air tank or have a mini compressor that plugs into a cigarette lighter. I got my mini compressor for something like $20 from Wal Mart. Haven't used my air tank in quite awhile!

Thanks Pat. I'm car # 69, and the only thing stock in the suspension are the sway bars. Entire driveline has also been changed (355, dfi, tremec TKO, ford 9"), so I'm not sure what class to be in.
Thanks for your help!

You might also consider running in C Prepared (CP). "Real" CP cars are bad *** trailer queens with with slicks, 500 hp and borderline tubeframe setups, however there isn't anybody around here with a real CP car (I would've usually won CP most of the time if I ran my old F Stock LS1 car there). All the CP cars in the area are street cars and American iron --basically just Camaros and Mustangs that are slightly modified beyond ESP or SM. SM usually attracts those foreign cars, and I think you'd have more fun running against other pony cars in CP.
SM runs in the afternoon; CP runs in the morning so you'd have to be there between 8 and 9:15 a.m. to register and go through tech.

Glenn Estelle, the guy with the LT1 3rd gen, signed up for CP. It's been awhile since I've seen three thirdgens at a local autocross.

Video of my fastest run. I ended up 7th in the "Pro" class and third fastest out of the other ESP cars. Sam Strano drove my car (he's driven it before ) on a couple fun runs and pretty much ran the same time (51.5) as I did, so I guess that's something to be happy about.
