Knight Run

THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL CAR MAKES. This event is similar to the cannonball run, cross country distance race. There will be check points along the way to stop at, and the total best time from the starting point to the ending point counts toward points that helps to determine the winner of the race. Also factored in is the total cost of the trip as spending caps will be placed on each driver/team. More info too follow as it become available. All the proceeds from the event goes to the American Cancer Society, you can get sponsors too and race for someone that you know or have lost.
Promotions provided by J&M Management.
Visit knightrun.weebly.com for more info
Thanks

Dont mean to offend anyone, but I put 6 years and $25k into the restoration. I dont wanna be side by side with a rusted mul-let mobile on a thousand and some mile run.

Im looking to roll with the big dogs, this is what this car is. And that is what a cannonball, or gumball run really is.

Let me know, sfusco3
My brother in-law has a viper, he too is looking into doing a run.
Custom hood? Looks like a cross between stock iroc, daytona and cowl, Car looks great. however those 2 holes where the emblem was do stand out a bit :x

Tbh i mostly agree with the car's being up to spec but i don't think most of the people on here are rusted up lol and doesn't have to do with age. I'm 18 and my 1988 Iroc L98 is rust-free, currently all factory stock(including paint) but building it up next year after saving money. Its not the age, its just what they wanted to do with the car and how they choose to represent it really. Its actually a bit obvious those who care for their cars and not just beat on them will be nicer than the ones that are beat on em. Respect the Car and it shall respect you.

btw, the emblem hasnt gone on when i took the pics. do you really think all that work and id leave holes? Its a full restoration, you dont know. I made that hood as well, and you wont see another one like it.

Forget this forum, im done. This isnt the rally i thought it out to be.

Sorry about your mom
Seems you're a bit messed up and confused. No that is not a Paul Walker line, It is an actual saying towards owners and their cars. Has nothing to do with F&F, seems like your on a one track mind thinking your better than everyone.
-
You'd think you'd put the emblems on for a picture if you spent all the money on restoring it don't you think? its very simple to do. And its quite fking obvious that you made the hood especially since i said Custom hood? That it looked like a cross between the stock/daytona/cowl hoods, and tbh I'm glad i wouldn't see another hood like it, The edges are too damn squared off on the raised portion, it looks like you took a stock iroc hood cut out the middle and welded it back in at a what 20* angle and filled in the sides. The top edges alone side are too sharp/square doesn't go w/ the lines of the rest of the hood.

I was being nice since yes I've never seen it before and b/c you worked 'hard' on it. Only thing i can acturally say i like about the car is under the hood, very clean.
-
Your a 22 year old (most likely a rich kid who has his parents pay for everything) and yet you still act like a spoiled brat, This forum doesn't need you. You've been a member here for nearly 4years yet only 46posts? and seeing how pompous you acted on this thread first, dissing everyone on this forum who since I've been on here have been a great bunch of people. Second, how i originally complimented you, noticed one thing and disagreed with you you went off again. and Repeated how much you spent on restoring a thirdgen no1 cares how much your parents spent. I wouldn't be surprised as the trouble follows you not the forums and each time u post you get hot headed, get into an 'argument' and storm off for another few months till you need to look something up again.

And once again your 22years old yet still attempting to do a mom joke? Grow up yo. You won't last anywhere long with your attitude.

Now to end it off, "I Spent $25k into the restoration don't want to be side by side with a rusted mul-let mobile...I'm looking to roll with the big dogs"

I still can't believe you said "Roll with the big dogs" are you sure your still being serious here or did u drop a few marbles while posting.
-
And here's a little food for thought, A Full Restoration means the car from the start was a heap, rusted up. Meaning you started in the same spot as the people you disrespect, Not everyone is made of money so of course projects take longer for some, some have families to support, some have school, some can't afford it flat out period.. Does that truely make you better than them? No

Re: Knight Run

As for the original poster "sfusco3" I'm sorry that your thread got a little out of hand, hopefully it will get back on track now that he left the forum(supposedly), everything will get back on track. BUt i really hate it when people think they're better than everyone else, hopefully people will read on post above and agree.

As for the original topic i still think once this is ready to get up and running and has some cars lined up to join it will be a great run. keep us posted!
