I'm interested in trading my gta for a base 86 to 92 trans am ws6 tpi car preferred will settle for a non ws6 or lg4 car if in nice condition. Will also consider 87 to 92 formula. Pics can be seen in my thread in the members firebird forum under "my 87 gta trans am" thread.

Why are you wanting to downgrade (in my opinion) from a gta to a base model? specifically an lg4 too

 

I dont want a base model im looking for a regular non gta trans am or formula. I said i would perfer tpi but would settle for a lg4 if it was in great condition.

 

im confused lol. as far as a "bird"gen, you have the finest example of one. i have what your looking for, but its no where near as nice as yours. its an 87 trans am, factory carbed 305, auto, digital dash. and same style delux interior. with a side helping of rust holes in floor lol

 

Lol I do not want a digital dash or deluxe interior that's one of the reasons I want to trade.

 

I can relate. I have a 88' GTA and I hate the digital dash and feel the seats are not that comfortable. Also my interior is the Beachwood Tan and I would rather black or grey. That being said, no matter how nice a TA or Formula is...I would feel like I traded for second best if I did that.

 

depending on what you're doing and why you want it I might have a good TA (87, it's in OK shape, the body is rot free but there was some body damage when i got it, I fixed most of it but it does needs final body work and paint an the front fenders still need to be realigned, the drivetrain is pretty decent, runs well, no codes, needs valve stem seals and has an exhaust leak on the driver's side), but I'm really curious why you'd want to trade?

 

I don't like the digital dash or hard to find seats. There's nothing special about a gta to me I rather have a regular trans am I got impatient and settled on this gta. It's not in perfect shape. I want one with good interior and mostly original
