Introduction post
Hi All,
My name is Dan and I purchased my first Firebird Trans Am in May. After a year of looking for the right car I found a beautiful bone stock low mileage '87 in Harrisburg, PA. Since I came of age in the '80s, a third gen T/A was one of my two teenage dream cars, and now I have them both, the other being a DeLorean.
My T/A is a metallic blue t-top with gray interior. It's equipped with an LB9 and a limited slip differential, but it's not a WS6. I wanted a WS6 car, but this one was so exceptional otherwise I could not pass on it. Since I have no plans for racing, only weekend cruising, it's not a big deal not having the beefed up suspension, although I'm not thrilled about the read drum brakes! The car has a documented 65K miles on the clock, and it looks and drives like a well maintained five to six year old car. Pretty impressive for being 26 and having had at least three prior owners. Many aspects of the car are concours quality. I almost think I bought too nice of an example. No plans to modify or customize, just going to try to preserve and enjoy.

Re: Introduction post
I'm sure this engine is familiar, but who gets tired of looking at it?
