I went to it with another member back in September, but the track was closed due to rain out. I have no desire to run my car because it is only 1/8 mile. I guess some track is better than no track.
I sort of live in Carbondale. I live in the dorms at SIU so I am here until May 10. I'll be getting my own place next year so I will live in Carbondale for at leat 9 months.

I know what you mean about the 1/8 mile thing but I'm so ready to race this year I'll take what I can get. I do plan to go back to Bowling Green this year. I went to a f-body gathering there and had a good time. What do you have done to your car? Any times? Oh! There are a few people from Carbondale that post on this site. www.kytnar.org It stands for Kentucky Tennessee Auto Racing.

I live in nashville tn now but I grew up in benton Il and lived there up until about a year ago and still make it beckup that way once every couple of months so if you see a red ta with a teal door running around honk cause it is probably me and if you want to make a pass on a quarter mile track gateway in St Louis is only about two hours away from you and 94 if you make it to bowling green be ot the lookout fo rme as well occasionally the f-body club I`m in make a run up there after our sat meeting so stop by and say Hi.

Hey, I'm interested in your f-body club. I went to a f-body gathering there in BG and had a good time. `When do you plan to have another meeting? I went to College with a guy that was from Benton, IL. He had a red 70's camaro. His name was Chad Wilson. He is probably about 28 or 29 years old. Do you know him?

I have heard the name before but he is 3 or 4 years older than me so I can`t place the name with a face of course I could know him and not realize it as I worked at the busiest gas station in town for about 4 years and spoke to a great number of people on a regular basis and never found out their names. The club I am has a site it is mtfba.org but ther is a club in Kentucky but right now the name has slipped my mind but under the links on the club site there is a link to it.

Come to think of it I remember the car now it took a few minutes I had to think back to freshmen year in high school but I believe it had a rather large scoop on the hood and some pretty good sized tires on the back. I could be wrong but the only other red 70's camaro I remember from high school was a pristine 81 z and that one belonged to a gut by the name of Kyle Bacon and shortly after he sold it someone totalled the car which made me sick when I heard it.

Yeah, that was probably him. The car wasn't all that nice but I just remember him driving it around in Evansville and I could tell it had a stall converter in it.
