Pat: i know how you feel bout the drive. My car hates me for making the trip back and forth a couple times a month.

if you guys have a place in mind post so...just keep in mind that whom evers area produces the largest number of cars is where the group will have to go. in the past we've always had luck keeping it centrally located since we have people from all over the state as well as canada. usually out on woodward and 696 area so that people have a well known place to hangout, eat and cruise.

i'm open for suggestions and thoughts though....

 

Count me in I`m thinking, We should get or hands on a place where we can get a lot of cars together at once and have a place to eat,cruise, talk, look at fellow members cars, and not get harassed by the law for "hanging out"

we've always used woodward in the past without any problems however as i said i'm open to suggestions. just take into consideration where the majority of people will be coming from and try to make it as centrally located as possible.

as i had said before woodward is nice obviously for it's night time cruising as well as it's larger parks for gathering and the many restaurants for eating.

 

why dont we have it in my yard...


i wasnt complaining about having it over at woodward, i really like that area of detroit

if i have the time, i would love to take over to Detroit for a get together

in a little hick town called Constantine.....its about an hour south of Grand Rapids

 

we can all meet up at my campus @ wayne state its off of Warren a block or so from woodward

im all for a gathering..

I'd love to join...but I've have to see if somone else could drive up there with me...I have no idea where I'm going..I've never even been out of this county!

 

it's really to bad some of you weren't closer. we have 15 or so in the general area (40 min or less) and this year were having a special event for our gratiot cruise which although will be an all week event like woodward the main saturday cruise day will also have a drive in event. would be nice to get everyone together for that......

anyhow we'll figure something out soon.

 

Is there a mailing list that everyone who is interested in could somehow get placed on?!?!?!..... unless someone wants to do a web page for events and the like?!?!?

I`m talking with autozone about spots in thier parking lot for the gratiot cruise, It`s brand new without landscaping still, but it sounds promising. It is just south of ten mile rd on gratiot right across the street from cloverleaf bar..one of the main spots to be

 

in my particular instance i was talking about the north gratiot cruise which is put on by my club motor city street rodders. were working in conjunction with usma and the other club that puts on the south gratiot cruise to connect all three gratiot cruises.

i'd say call up one of the clubs that helps put on the south gratiot cruise to help you with your spot but they typically don't work that way. just hit up the manager and promise nice cars for their business and you should be good! if you need some help in anyway let me know. the unfortunate thing is you had better get ahold of them quick before someone else does and even if you get guaranteed your spot you had better work out some sort of agreement to keep it. you will have issues down to the last day with other people and companies either parking without permission or trying to buy out your spot last minute.

as far as a mailing list....i use to do that. our last gathering we had over 60 cars that were suppose to attend and roughly 20+ showed. i leave it all here on the site that way the people who are truly interested will know rather then having to take time to track everyone down.

 

Check out the guys over at www.nwof-bodies.com. I am sure me and some of them would love to come. We are based out of that area, well about an hour south. But its always nice hearing a few thirdgens roaring down the highway past ricers.. he he. Count me in.

Im down for anything. I live in Canton Michigan. Maybe sometime we can all cruise out to a Hooters or something sometime in the summer time. I go to school in Ohio (University of Northwestrn Ohio) Monday-Thursday.

The EMCC (Eastern Michigan Camaro Club) rents Milan Dragway out once a month. It's basically a bunch of different camaros, firebird and some mustangs going at it. And it's continuous . . . you can make a run and go back to the lanes a go again for 3 hours all for about $30. Prices depend on how many people show up. Today 4-8-04 is the first day were doing it this year. If anyone reads it in time, just show up at 6:00 PM.

Maybe we could all set up some sort of e-mail notification or AIM notification of people in Michigan to get together and have a cruise.

Hey, I live in Shelby Twp. I would love to get together and hang out with other F-bodies, it beats teh hell outta smikin ricers (although it aint bad), when do you guys plan on meeting again? Theres a tuner carshow on April 24th im going to. Its at 26 and Mound in Shelby Twp. If you are interested in going, PM me, and Ill send you more info.

i can be found at mt.clemens on wed and on hall rd. mondays starting in june. weather permitting i will be in the clem this wednesday but i leave next week for indiana and the car will be down til june.

The Tuner show will be at 56712 Mound Rd.( If you need directions, I suggest MapQuest, its the best), It is in Shelby Twp. MI, and it is Saturday April 24. what place is it....kart 2 kart usually pulls those shows as i use to cover them when i worked for S3 magazine.

i wouldn't mind checking it out if i can do a drive through or depending on where it's at park in relation but 10-8 on a saturday is too long for me. since i don't get up til noon on weekends.

 

Umm, its at a place called the Shelby-Mound Commons(If you can't find it, I reccomend MapQuest). I wouldn't mind going either, but I got an emergency call to work, so I'll have to skip it. Anyone going to Camar SuperFest?
