g machines?
g machines?
looking for show quality g machines of any american make so long as they are rwd and newer then 65'. if you have/know of someone who has one let me know.
g machine is so, yes. needs to stop as quick as it can go as well as take a good corner.
basically a car with the 5 areas...drivetrain, suspension, brakes, interior, paint, etc.

tta....factory, maybe. g-machine, not really. do you have one? looking for g-machines. cars with the 5 areas of modification that can stop/turn as fast as they can go. something like my own. doesn't have to be a thirdgen. 1960+
basically all of the cars around here have 4 areas of mods...hardly anyone does both brakes and interior it seems in my area. either they are just like my car, with paint, drivetrain, suspension, and interior, and stock 4 wheel disc brakes....or they have brake upgrades and stock interior

I guess a g-machine needs to be differant? not stock? (TTA)-I almost bought one afew weeks ago but, it was in very poor shape and the owner would not budge on the price. I walked away (and glade I did)
tta is nice in deed but not a g machine...typically these types of cars are min 350 rwhp and can stop on a dime. they look just as good going fast as they do sitting still. come on guys, you should know better then this. a vehicle that would make you pick up a magazine and read about it. something that has every area somewhat modified.
stock interiors are fine if they had options that fit the needs but a base model or even standard z28 hardly has interior that would fit the needs of a g machine. you would need guages to monitor many of your things, possibly seats to hold you in place as well as other areas. alone these modifications would make your interior different.
basically a well rounded modified car. if your car fits this i have a great opportunity for you.

I don't know any cars that specific around here. mine is the closest but, still no g-machine. the rest will have sick power but, no turning or breaking or the other way around. every "g-machine" that I can think of I guess is in a car show and gets trailered around
that's too bad, i put at least 100 miles a week on mine??
nothing wrong with my car, why do you ask? opportunity, well can't tell you unless you have a g-machine as it would serve no purpose anyhow.
thanks guys.

88 350 tpi formula.... every "g-machine" that I can think of I guess is in a car show and gets trailered around
On a side note: A friend of mine got rear-ended a in his Berger SS car a while back. Guess who hit him.....some teen-aged girl talking on her phone. Hit him so hard that the car was just short of being totalled. Took Berger almost six months to fix it. Take a guess on what happens to the value of his limited production car that essentially has a complete new rear subframe? Right straight into the crapper

I've never shown the car. It's not a show car, it's a street car that performs very well.
IM me or something, let me know what the deal is.

How is a show car a g-machine? Just because it has the parts necessary to stop well, accelerate well and handle well doesn't mean it can do it.
I've never understood this. Trailer-queens are lame, IMO.
Thanks for offering, though.

my car wins shows and has more miles then most....show cars aren't always trailer queens and this wasn't about that. just trying to help others get opportunites which is quickly looking like a mistake. look up what g-machine means in many magazines. it has to look good doing what it does as well, you wouldn't buy a magazine to see a beat up car would you. the notion that as long as it's fast who cares what it looks like is just as lame...
either way we were just trying to help some fellow thirdgen lovers out. to each their own i guess.

Like I said, that's cool of you to offer. Thanks, again.
Just thinking outloud, I guess. I know of A LOT of cars that perform very well that are also very well done, whose owners just don't "show" them.
No need to feel it was a mistake.
And I never said I was all about performance and not about looks. I don't know where you're getting that.
But the term "show car" is generally equated with trailer-queen. Not used, just shown. I'm sure you can understand where I'm coming from.

certainly do, none of it was directly aimed at you so don't feel that way. i completely agree and while i didn't mean it had to be shown i meant it should be worthy of shown mainly because of the magazine spot. need readers to want to buy the magazine and a nice looking car will do that. not a big deal, always next time.
thanks everyone.
