what parts do you need?

91 rs parts car... body is great. underside isn't. had planned on building it up as a daily driver but after stripping the undercoating underneath it accelerated the rusting process and all the seams are shot.

it is a 91 rs 305 tbi car missing the long block, trans and wheels. interior is all there and in great shape. ( minus seats) and so is the suspension as well as radiator, serpentine setup, a/c, etc.

if your looking for something let me know what you need and tell me what you want to pay. just looking to part this car out as fast as possible before i run it over with my truck.

i'll have pictures up tomorrow so that you can see all the parts.

thanks.

Jeff, I still need hood blisters and could go for the fenders off the RS if they are good. My 91 is NAKED right now!

kevin it is an rs so it doesn't have blisters... i have blisters but i'm holding on to them which doesn't do you much good i know. i do have good upper body though on everything but the rear passenger quarter. tell me what you need and make an offer...

the front gfx, bumper, and fenders are currently spoken for but things could fall through as they usually do. if anyone wants something let me know and i'll put you on a list. these parts are all in decent shape and cheap.

I could use the both pieces of door glass, the top piece pf plastic door trim for both doors, the console cover, the radio/HVAC trim bezel, the center vents underneath the dashpad and a handful of torx screws if they are all in good shape.

sure thing.... the door trim pannels are the only things that will really cost you at $40 a pop as they are new and new they go for 110 a piece.

i will not sell the radio trim ring as it has a few small knicks in it but if you pick up the other parts i will throw it in with them and let you decide as it is not cracked, fadded or broken... just not worth selling.

the glass i will sell cheap but i want to wait until i'm dropping off the car to the junk yard as if it has to sit outside i want the interior protected.

let me know what all those parts are worth to you and try to include some sort of shipping unless you would like to come out this way and look for yourself/pick them up.

same goes for everyone else, on larger orders or group items i will drive up to 1 hour to meet any of you to help you get these parts, i really just want to part this thing out as quick and as efficient as possible.

thanks for looking.

Yikes! I'll just find a way to keep the ones I have down then. I think its just a tab on the bottom, havent really looked yet.

Well, it has to be better than mine. It got cracked into 3 pieces when someone tried to steal the stereo.

Thats fine by me. My glass has 3-4 chips along the tops on both sides, as well as a few scratches. Dont really want to tint messed up glass.

let me know what all those parts are worth to you and try to include some sort of shipping unless you would like to come out this way and look for yourself/pick them up.
I'll be in Detroit over New Years if you will be around. I might even be meeting up with you anyways if you buy that rear end from Dreamer1.

$35 for the glass, center vents and console cover if I pick up?

yes the top trim is expensive indeed. the ones on my 91 project car are a little jaded from being removed as i am getting ready to buy new ones which is an outrageous price. the ones on this rs are in great shape and look as if they have never been removed. you can remove them if your careful but it's hard not to mess up the trim. anyhow i figure i can use the rs ones or sell them and pay half for new ones... it's worth it but understandable if you don't want to spend that much.

the glass is $120 on average a side for the glass and that's without install near me. i'll sell you both window glass pieces for $60 for the pair if you want them. i need glass myself but i'll let them go for $60 for both which is 1/2 the price of just one.

$80 and you can have both glass, the center console top half with all the trim plates and screws as well as the vents your asking for. the pieces are expensive indeed but more so new, all the items in question are perfect condition minus the trim radio plate which i told you i'd give you.

i am not going to see q on new years because of the shape of the underbody i have no use for the rear. if you are interested in the parts let me know.

not a problem... depending on where you are in the area i would prefer to meet new years eve in the early hours of course as i don't plan to get up anytime soon on new years day. email me at oddiez@hotmail.com again and let me know how you'd like to go about it and exactly what parts you want so that i can pull it all now and make sure it's stored away for you.

the console lid is good but if djcobal picks up the top trim piece it's going with it. you can pick up a new assembly/armrest/lid brand new from gm for $40. the one in question has a small crack in the assembly where it opens but it isn't anything noticeable and i'm comfortable selling it or in this case giving it with the top trim plates.

if something falls through and djcobal doesn't pick it up then i'll get back to you.

Let me know.
the tail lights are in good condition, they are not cracked/discolored but do have typical fade in the plastic... all of which could be cleaned up. i have 3 sets of grid style tail lights reguardless but all vary in milage. the base price for a set like on this car with 100,000 miles is $70 shipped however they will be in good condition and cleaned up by me as best as possible. i will not sell you a bad looking tail light however by good i mean they aren't show quality. for a show quality set of taillights they are $150 new. which when compared to gm new lights for $350 a set isn't bad. so if your interested in a set email me at oddiez@hotmail.com and i will give you further details as well as very descriptive pictures.

for the steering wheel the one on this car is in great shape and the bag looks to be in great shape as well. it is an rs wheel though, not leather like the z28 wheel so make sure you know the difference. i have two good condition rs wheels with air bags in good condition as well. $125 shipped for either and i have one z28 wheel with a slight tear at 12 o'clock that is $50 shipped because of the tear. gm retail on a new wheel is $330 and air bag is another $100+. again the rs wheels are in great shape and if you email me at oddiez@hotmail.com i can give you more details as well as very descriptive pictures.

while the parts off of this car are not of my old personal z28 they are in great shape, anyone whom purchases anything will recieve any amount of detailed pictures if noted. i will not sell you something if it's not worth what your paying.... at the same time i'd rather let something sit then give it away (if it's in great shape) if it's damaged or looks used then it's probably free or damn close to it.

do you need the support work too? make me an offer as i was offered $100 for the bumper cover and all support work. getting $100 for it now but if it falls through if you need just the cover i'm sure we can work something out.

as far as the rest here's the new price list on large items, pick up only as they need to go for room sake. these prices are based on only excellent condition items. knowing what the new pieces go if you think they are too much make me an offer as i'll work with you if you buy more too as i just want it all to go away.

doors in mint condition with great light blue paint fully dressed $100 a piece (includes everything from glass, mirros, etc) without all the dressing $50.

rear hatch $30 glass has defrost but is in mint condition with no scratches or tint. rs spoiler is not included.

rs hood in great shape $40 again with great paint. $10 more for hinges and struts.

complete 91-92 gfx with everything needed to bolt on
$450 rear bumper and front bumper with all necessary pieces an extra $150.

have a set of grey seats out of a 92 great shape full front/back $100.

grey plastic interior complete $150

front windshield is free if you can get it out.

dash with guage cluster and all necessary pieces minus dashboard $100

complete center console $100

tail lights $60

rear hatch struts $30

front hood struts $10

steering wheel with airbag $100

i'm sure there are other things but these are the larger items. everything is new or in great shape, i have alot of things still in gm/classic industry boxes. if you need something else let me know. anyone whom would like to buy the rolling car for some of these parts make me an offer as it's cheaper then buying them one by one.

After further reasearch..it seems that the 91 versions of that spoiler are smaller than my 87 with light in the spoiler
I learn something new everyday
I guess I cant use that spoiler for my project
Sorry about that
Later

As long as there are no splits in the rubber, I'll take them. I'll do some poking around my car to see how those buggers come off. Thanks Jeff!

splits as in it's in new shape? not the case unfortunately, there are no rips, tears or otherwise but there's obvious wear on them. even my brand new ones in my 91 had signs of good wear just from opening/closing the door.

if your putting them on a car you plan to show i will not sell them to you. if you putting them on a car that needs them for the time being that's different. they are in great shape considering use but they are not like new. as far as removing just unscrew the top piece closest to you and follow the trail of white plastic fastners. it's a little tricky under the door trim but you'll get it.

just so there is no confusion i'll try to get a picture of them first so you can see.
