305 4 bbl + 700R4 total package - alternator

this ad is a little bit early but this spring (aroung April) I am going to be stripping and parting out my 83 T/A. right now I am using the car for a winter beater which is why I am not quite ready to sell the motor and tranny yet. the motor and tranny both run great. this car never fails to start for me, even on the coldest days which we have just recently had of course. I am selling the motor and tranny as a set.with the motor and tranny the buyer will get the Tranny Lines, exhaust mans, ecm and harness which will not be unplugged from the motor unless absolutley necessary.buyer can have the driveshaft if they need it. the only thing on the motor that I am keeping is the alternator (pretty universal part) and the only part off the tranny I need is the speedo cable. before this motor and tranny come out however I would like to have a buyer test drive the car so they know the car runs and drives fine, this way you know first hand for sure you are getting something that runs/drives and not just relying on a strangers words that all is good.the buyer will be getting an extremely complete setup here.buyer if he likes can help pull the motor and tranny, if he likes. (motor/tranny will be pulled together and not seperately) for the whole setup I am looking to get $250.00 I would offer to help reinstall this setup but I have a couple of pretty big projects going myself so my time is pretty limited.
I WILL NOT SHIP THIS SETUP SO ONLY PERSONS WILLING TO DRIVE TO ROCHESTER (s.e. Mn area code 55944, 1 1/2 hours south of Mpls) NEED REPLY.

well I would say everything is def original, nothing looks molested in any way. miles are 146,565 as of today BUT I will still be driving the car to and from work, but that is only 2 miles round trip. plus maybe errands, but def not the families main soruce of transportation, with 2 kids the mini van is our primary vehicle. send me your email addy and I can send you my phone number and also some pics of the car if you'd like. also if you decide you would want it just let me know when or if you want to take it for a test drive.

I am pretty open to selling the setup around April (beg of spring)I don't really have a deadline when I need to get rid of it. if you give me your email addy I will send you pics of any peticular part of the motor that you like. I will of course take some pics that would be your standard motor pics, but I am computer dumb and unsure how to shrink them small enough to post them on here. if you live close enough you are more than welcome to take the car for a test drive.

well tabs on the car are due in Dec so I have till Jan 10th to drive the car with the current tabs on it. I decided not to renew my tabs and drop the ins at that time. if anyone could stop by for a test drive (even for a testimonial for this thread) then you should stop by before then. I would begin to pull the motor after I stop driving it but I really don't like pulling motors and trannies in a wet or cold driveway, so the motor pull will still be more closer to spring when it warms up. if the motor and tranny dont sell then the tranny will more than likely go into my 88 Firebird which I plan on a bbc engine swap in.

well I am getting anxious to get this car stripped and get my other car together so this motor and tranny are now up for sale. tabs are expired and the car no longer has ins so I can not offer any test drives but if anyone is interested they can still at least start it up and hear the motor.I am going to start to dissasemble the dash and then from there go to the enigne bay and begine to get things ready to pull. I am not going to be able to do alot of work all at once b/c work/kids/and family life does keep me busy but I am going to have the motor and tranny out very soon here for anyone interested. I have not dissconnected anything yet other than the radio which I put in my other car, but I will put up a post when the motor is dissconected and no longer availbe to hear run. most of all the work will be done on Frday afternoons right when I get off work, no kids till 5:30 which will make things easier to do.
