Re: your thoughts?
yeah i love my third gen to dont get me wrong, but this berlinetta as been a pain in the *** since day one.ill probley buy a 3rd gen z-28/i-roc to build up next.i just cant pass up a big block trans am for a small block camaro

The only thing I will say is that the block on the 403 will limit your power output potential, they are weak. That being said however, find an olds 350 diesel block convert it to gas and use that instead. Either that or find a Poncho/Chevy motor and go from there. I'd probably trade for it though, they are getting less common after all. Oh, and be sure to pull the carpets up and check for floor pan rust I know on G-bodies with T-tops it is an issue and probably is on these as well.

Re: your thoughts?
How are the rear shock towers on that t/a? That is a big thing to watch on the second gens. Ive seen quite a few of em when I was doing towing that would look clean and be pretty free of rust but had weak or busted thru rear towers
P.S. The 403 is NOT a bigblock it is a smallblock and it was made by oldsmobile
