Massapequa Long island here. You guys ever end up going to any "shows" (or sitting around in a parking lot on friday nights) on the island? I used to go up to bellmore but after a while, its the same cars every week.

I know last year, there was a car show in Long Beach, south of merrick road, on long beach road every wednesday night. and there is bellmore train station every friday, along with Seaford train staton, (but the cops always kick us out fo seaford). But that is all that I really know about.

Bellmore was stopped, and the crowd goes to Huntington Mall
but in a real small lot
and someone charges for that

tuesday night at the "hill" the holcrooks fire deot charges 5
and let me tell you they are making a mint off that

thursdays was somewhere in rocky point

sat we usually go to Kohls in Commack gets tight there too

we usually go around the avenue 231 on fri and sat nights to just hang and cruise and go for dinner

hopefully the next two weeks we should be done with the cars and truck, then it's play time

gonna try the mothers power ball on my weld rims

i heard last night they are back at Bellmore

what time? i heard a few different things, like only thursday night, late friday night after 8, and some other dates and times

only thing about there is that i had to take off of work to get there on time

then you had to deal with people leaving from the trains

but the crowd, and the deli there were awesome

it was great to go there

i went to Kohl's solo last night, she was working
but man it was so cool, alot of people

dammmmmmm, i forgot how much fuel a double pumper uses, and man going from the propbe to that WOW, what a feeling to just get out

met some cool people, as well as saw the older friends too
some nice real old cars too, like post 55's.

some nice second gens too
only one 3rd gen there, pretty clean looking 91 Z
no 4th
very few 1st

can't wait to see the one guys butler built 540 motor, OMG, he's talking like 750+ hp, for his son, who is ummmmm 9
he has over 10 cars..............

not sure what we are doing this upcoming weekend, as i need to work on her car, so probably not gonna be able to make it out for a few weekends.

yeah there was a nice crowd there
i wish we could go back to the mcDonalds
that was awesome

i liked that jaguar with the Blower motor
and that cobra with that Paxton on it was neat too.

i loved those older army jeeps, that has to be cool tooling around in one of those.

My friend brought out his white 67 gto, left his HO TA at home.
before i went home, i went down the avenue, man has time changed, mostly ricers hanging out now.
man i remember the days when 2 gens ran that road, cars had huffers, and big blocks
and there used to be huge turnouts (when it was Channels)

man am i old are what LOL

I don't think we are gonna hit the "hill" as we have to be up early for work next day.

can't wait to go to Bellmore again,

Bellmore here.

Bellmore train station is getting how it used to be. I see the old timers starting to get their spots as early as 5:00pm parking with all the commuter cars but not too many of them. The regular crowd fills the place up from 6-10? and then the other crowd starts rolling in

I saw 89rsragtop's car, it was extremely nice. It was the one with a corvette engine, Convertable, and brand new paint, very nice.

I also saw all of the cars Don 79 TA mentioned. Very niice

My dad bought that 87 corvette there, 68k miles decent condition. $5000 I thought that that was a fair price. It has the TPI 350 engine so all our parts are interchangable Now it will make my life easier to fix my cars last problem.

dammmm
i missed seeing a convert 3rd gen there
that would be a nice ride to see with the ls1 in there

come to think of it i only recalled seeing 1 RS hard top there
no other 3rd gens

that's a really nice price on the vette

someone was selling their older 442 4spd for 20k. super clean car

it will probably be about another month or so before we can get there, depending on work schedules and if i get her car and truck done.

that's a little bit of a ride for us, but could consider some day

you definately have to make Bellmore
people come from all over for that
or at least they used to

there was also a place in CT on Saturday nights
at a dairy barn or something like that
we've never made that, but supposedly it was in Danbury?

need the car mags to run a Hot spots for cruise nights

I'm usually down at OBI Sunday mornings with one of my cars...

Tuesday nights I usually hit the cruise night up in Oyster Bay...

Been to Nathan's in Oceanside on Wed's a few times, it's too packed close IMO tho...

Fri nights I hear Bellmore is back, but I dunno, haven't been out there again yet...

Sat when it's nice I usually head over to Kohls on Commack Rd...

Maybe you've seen my cars, I dunno...

My son talked me into Bellmore last friday night.. There was a cop driving all over making everyone close their hoods? And making people take off their for sale signs on their cars. This cop was having fun busting chops. As soon as a hood would go up he came racing over. His patrol car said gang unit on it. What a joke!! The crowd was families with small children and old men like me. I won't be back there again.
