Looking for in Philly
Hey guys I was wondering where you guys get your parts from for your camaros and firebirds in Delaware County and Philly. I have been looking for a 350 (L98) and every time I find one its in like Texas, California, or like Michigan. Do you guys have any suggestions on what junk yards may have one or any other ideas? I also have a house in the Poconos so when I go up there I go to Harry's U-Pull-It in Hazelton but anything there is stripped by the weekend. People stalk that junk yard. Thanks, Ron.

tpi350's are a dime a dozen over there, though most of the f-bodies are v-6's in the yard. not too many poeple go there to get parts for their vehicles. all i ask for the information on where it is is that someone leaves me a good dash and if there is a wonderbar on one of the cars, they leave that for me too, other than that everything is fair game!!!!!!!!
i think that they even have some vette engines if you want one!

thats a little further then I was expecting but if one of you guys go up there and there is some then I will deffinitely go over and pick one up. Is it a U-Pull-It? They are so much better. Yeah so if someone happens to go over and see one please let me know. Does anyone know how much they charge for a motor? thanks guys for your help, Ron.

There is a place on ebay that is called fpartssalvage (i think) if you search ls1's you will def. find them. Once and a while they will have a lower milage L98 on there. They are located in bristol. I am sure you know where that is. But that could help you out.
I rely on Harry's in Pennsburg for mostly interior pieces because yes, all of the cars seem to be 2.8s or 3.1s. They had a L98 firebird there a while ago but the car had front end damage. So it is a possibility.
As far as engine prices i think they are about 100-120 but then again they always have their weekly sales.

yeah Harrys is cool as **** but as far as f-bodies... you ain't getting anything good unless you stalk that place. I been there a couple of times and have seen some good stuff but usually anything worth while is gone. But yeah I will check out those people on eBay. Thanks man I appreciate it.

Ooooh. I like the 96 Corvette LT4 that place has for sale too. $3700 isn't that bad of a price. That L98 looks good too.
