I hate the front plate law, my bro is going to have to drill holes in his IROC eventually. He bought it in CT and we live in CT, I ate to drill into such a nice car.
My cars came with them so its too late. I still rather not have them though.

(FOR NEW YORK)
i don't see the fuss. I live in upstate new york( Near the capital, Albany ) and keep my plate on my dashboard. Never been pulled over once even passed multiple cops I've been as far south as poughkeepsie, West to Syracuse, and north up in the Ticonderoga - with the car and no issues.
-
The Law doesn't state it has to be on the bumper specifically. It states That one plate must be in plate spot on back of car fully visable. and for the front one 'Plate Must be completely visible from front of car x amount of distance away' So i keep all of my license plate #s completely visible. Never had a single problem. Its my daily driver and i've had it on the road since march.
-
I do however know that they are very strict in Nyc over it though, they ticket for not being on bumper however law doesn't specifically state has to be there, Doesn't really bother me though, I've never had to go down to the City before.
