There was a 91-92 white bird with a cowl hood behind me today on 65 at the sewickley bridge. Not sure if its anyone on here but I saw you give me the devil horns as I pulled away. Didn't get a good look at the whole car but it looked mean in my rear view mirror with that hood.

He has the one with wheels like yours on Pittspeed right? I didn't see the wheels but I thought the white with a cowl hood looked familiar.

I might be up for something this weekend. It's supposed to be nice out. Who knows how long that will last. I'm not sure what's going on anywhere other than the Irwin cruise.

Irwin Show?
If It doesn't rain. I'll probably be there being that you guys go. I'm washing the car tomorrow, and I secured my job so the Camaro will soon be nice(er).

Hey man what time do you think you will be there? I'm like 10min away so I'll probably go. We will probably be the only thirdgens haha. Too bad my car needs washed real bad.
If I start my car up, white smoke goes everywhere so it's pretty embarrasing haha.

I'm supposed to be heading out to Norwin tomorrow night for the show so look for me unless i post otherwise.
I may have a few rides in tow with me like my dads 82' GT and a friend's drag-prepped S10.
also, anyone know where i can get the foglight assembly for my Iroc? Mine is "aftermarket" and i was looking for an original one.

Sorry dude, can't go...parents needed the car to run errands while their car got something with the alignment done. My car doesn't deserve to be at a show anyways when nothing works. haha

Re: PIttsburgh
Blah, I gotta make it to another Car Cruise before I park the car this winter. I just work so damn much I dont have time lol. Just worked a 10 hour shift today. You can tell Im really serious about getting this 400 SBC/TH400 thing finished by Spring.
I should be getting some money soon anyway, some mfer rearended me after school Friday. I coulda killed the little ***, but luckily it looks like its just paint that came off my rear bumper. Im waiting for the insurance adjuster to come out and look at it so I havent taken the rear bumper off to see if there is anything, but it wont matter because Ill just be getting more money I suppose. I can get any of the rear bumper supports off of this Notchback Im taking parts off of Sunday which will be little to no cost cuz the guy who is parting it out got it for free an is my Dads friend. AND I painted the car myself so not only do I still have some paint left (So I wont have to go buy any) but I planned on repainting the rear bumper anyway because there were a few runs in the paint and the bottom ground effects are being painted Silver lol. So really Ill just be getting money to dump into the car is how I see it.
But anyway, Im going to be taking parts off this Notchback today but if you guys want me to grab you anything let me know, or if you guys know someone who might want to buy the Notchback Hatch. I might end up with the whole car minus the hatch who knows lol.

Re: PIttsburgh
Fun day! I wasn't able to make it out to norwin last night, but i more than made up for it today. Added alittle over 150 miles to the clock along with many hours. Me and dad took the Iroc and the mustang (respectively) cruising. We had the camera and we stopped alot along the way to take some pictures (which i'll post a link to later tonight). Finally we ended up at the Caste Village cruise and hung there for maybe half an hour.
Oh and i stuff my baby into a mini-ditch doing a 3 point turn on a hill. Some of you may know my car is having tranny problems. Well, reverse decided it didn't want to come to the show today so when i put it in reverse to back up, it went forward and slipped into a ditch.
No damage though. Worst part of the ordeal was easing it out of the ditch. At the angle i slid in there the rear tires were kinda light and they spun on my way out.
Lastly, If i remember right there is a general Test/tune at PRP in 2 weeks (Saturday). If it's nice out i want to go get a baseline on my project (17 second quarter anyone?) Before i go to town starting next month. Anyone wanna go? You'll have a fun time embarrassing me!

Re: PIttsburgh
Man I'm still not that good yet (though i've cut my shift times in half since last time i tried to figure it out.), and i'm having serious problems with the car. Well not serious, but bad enough to hurt my times. The gears are alittle rough, the clutch slips alittle, and I need a new computer. About 1/5 times i pull out the car fights me like a bit**, bucking and jerking and trying to stall. Just smack the dash and she goes docile again. I think i'll be happy with a 16 something as a starting point. Besides, what'd a stock LB9 T5 run anyways? 15? 15.3? Add on 160k miles of wear (bad wear too. the guy who owned the car before abused it), and the fact she's not in top tune anyways, and i think a high 16 will be fine.

Re: PIttsburgh

but! I was just told by a guy who lives about 2 miles from the strip that there is no WAY to get close to the dragstrip this weekend if you dont want to wait. All those highways being closed have funneled people down to that one road to the strip.
maybe next Saturday would be a better choice?

I think traffic is going to be horrible personally.Plus i have to head up that road for almost 20 minutes if i remember right. I'm not sure if i know backroads for 20 minutes worth of main roads.
But I guess what you're saying is that you're going tomorrow weather permitting... Well I'll see if I can IM orr tonight. If he's heading up I'll try to get there but no promises.

very nce man, thats good for a 305. i dropped my car off last night to get the roll bar welded in. Drove it an hour or so to get there and the car i think got decent mileage
Not sure how much i used tho, but it was 42 miles or so.
Should have the car back by monday night or tuesday night depending. Trying to race next weekend here
