Has anyone on the board done business with (had work done on their car) from this performance shop??

JS Performance (http://www.jsspeedandcustom.com)

They are located in the Philadelphia, PA area. I am considering having major work done there (vortech supercharger install, super ram set up, tuning etc) and would like any feedback before I commit to giving them my business.

Thanks for your time and any info is appreciated.

Re: anyone know this performance shop?
Well not expensive, but expensive to some kids around here to who dont money. They charge per hour spent on the car. They dont give you any estimates. They do ask you how much you want to spend on it, and then they wont go over that. I do all my own machine work, since I work at a machine shop. They just tune my stuff for me...

I get all of my work done there, Josh(the owner) is a good friend of mine and does top notch quality work. If there is something I can't do on the 'vette he's the ONLY one that's allowed to touch it.

He did work on my '00 Z28 and my thirdgens. He has 2 thirdgens and knows them inside and out. I would have no problem recommending him.

yeah, those people are an f'n nightmare. worst decision i ever made. cost me nothing but time and money and i got nothing in return. if i had more cash, id sue there *** for what the did. im pretty sure id have a good case against them too. those people are the worst business ive EVER dealt with..and im not talking bout cars only, i mean ANY business.. just terrible. Josh has been great keeping me posted on updates and i am quite pleased so far. cant wait to have to back up and running!
