Worked up some interest in the car...
I finally got around to pulling the car out and giving it some attention. I needed to paint the hood, and after another hood fell onto the car in the earthquake and scratching the clear, I decided to paint the whole front end. Next will be to remove the engine and smooth out anything not needed in the compartment, then paint it and clearcoat it too. Part of me has no idea why I am doing all of this since the car is never driven ( 94 miles in over a year and a half ), but I want it to be as nice as possible when it comes back out of the garage. Anyways, to anyone interested, I post a few pictures of the latest work.....

Well, aside from the front skirt and putting the lights back in, I finished it off around 1:00 this morning.... Finally, it looks good again.

I hope to get it back on the road soon... As soon as it is ready, I will be more than happy to do another cruise / meet. The meet we had that ended in Morro bay was the last time the car was driven and trust me, I am starting to miss driving it.

Not too much got in the paint, and the little bit that did was easily color sanded out. The job turned out great. I had plastic draped over everything and the floor was wet down with a hose. I have painted alot of stuff in my garage in the past, so it was not a big concern. Now if I were to do a complete repaint, I would have rented a booth.
