project is comming right along...update
well as you know i have recently done a hudge ammount of work to the iroc my engine is all naked
i got the other head pulled last night man was it easier than passenger side, only thing difficult about the passenger side is that damn exhaust manifold is cramped makes it hard to get to the bolts, so both heads are pulled and i ported one last night man do these heads suck for port size they look pretty nice now
ill post some pics laterz.

i have no clue what these egr tapped hoels should be plugged up or not...should it have plugs in it i keep meaning to ask you dwane
i would like to keep egr functional for when i put my twin turbo's on
that will help with partial throttle ping/pre detonation..i havent worried about it cause i havent even started putting my motor back together
so the one's in red my understanding is that those were used for casting so is it ok if i do what you did plug them off and grind them away?

Glad to hear everything is going good Eric. Porting the heads is a good thing no matter what kind they are, good luck, you will have to do mine someday. Post pics and keep me updated.

I sent you an email with picts.
Yes cap the holes and grind them down. Leave the big dome alone.
The holes are casting cleanouts so the EGR gasses are routed near the TB.

I'm not sure on the size.
I'm thinking 3/4 coarse thread.
Mine came with the plugs. You'll never need to mess with this again so make sure you use loctite at the least maybe something stronger.

How much are you going to have invested after all that Eric?
Sounds like you're around 12G's.
No excuses now, better be in the 13's whether you can launch it or not, haha.

What's up now Travis, I was right about the cam b*i*t*c*h!
Sounds like a sweet setup Eric, makes me jealous and want to switch to tpi, lol. Get those pics loaded when you can, pay your freaking bill, lol. Anyway, hope the rest of the install goes good, let us know when she is ready to run. Oh, my guess for times is high 12's with improvment once you tune and learn to launch better.
