comming along!!!

well the projects been non stop since july one thing is fixed another arises,

recently my steering column broke and my oil pressure sending unit took a ****, ironicaly i just replaced the column in my grand am it did the same thing it got slop in it and moved up and down alot.

finally got an exhaust on thanks terrell i went over and chopped off his flowmaster, and have the stock piping no cat, sounds decent.

i just got back from traviz'z i threw in a chip i advanced timing a little bit and that helped alot, changed injector constant to the new 24lbers, and disabled vats . stupid vats giving me problems.

it seems to rev better and more power but is far off and needs alot more i know theres alot more power to be tuned out.

so heres the list

u joints need to be replace about to snap

speedo converter box needs to be calibrated more

more chip tuning

need a new column

reseal intake manifold oil leak at rear china wall

make new wire set, replace cap and rotor

knock sensor is defective,

a few more knick nacks but pretty soon shell be in tip top shape and ready for suspension work

What would it take to get one of you to get rid of the VATS in a speed density chip? I have a stock chip here that I plan to use....Let me know...

Eric,
I just towed an 83' Camaro, would that column work? If so, I just need to wait 15 days for the junk slip...

Thanks,

Jason

Hey Eric-

Got your mssg the other day regarding needing a place to wrench out of the rain. I have no room at the moment. The roc and bronco are in the backyard already. I just got my tpi gaskets yesterday. if i can move the truck and get those gaskets in, maybe we will have some room.

Did you go back to qwik's and get that maf yet?

if you have the stock chip, it cant be touched, however if you get an aftermarket adapter through moates, its around 55 bucks i believe, i'd be more then happy to make you a chip with the basics covered free of charge.

Have you thought about repairing your column? Usually when they get wobbly, the inner 3 (or 4) bolts come loose.

I've had good luck taking them apart and putting locktite on the loose ones. Takes a lockplate depresser, a small metric (don't recall the size) bolt to yank the tilt pins out and a hour or so of your time.

This is assuming you don't have airbags, since I've never done an airbag wheel before.
