Cleaned up my work area
Well, today I decided to get my garage clean and ready for the work that will be done to the t/a this season. I made a trip to the dump to get all trash out all at once. I had my big screen box in there since we moved in a year and a half ago. That alone took up a big spot in the corner where my air compressor , rolling tool box, and some shelves now sit. I now have enough room to roll the creeper anywhere I need to and I can now mount the retractable airhose reel so I don't get tangled anymore.
I found out yesterday that my alternator is bad, it's only charging at 9 volts so that will be replaced with a high output alt and the battery will be an optima. My pinion seal is leaking so the rearend rebuild will begin soon too. My tranny is now leaking do to the new poly mount stiffening it up and the driveshaft is wiggling worse so the manual will be going in Feb. I have ordered my Z06 calipers in a bright red powdercoat so now she'll stop on a dime.

Yeah, I've got the block, it may not be done in time for spring with all the other stuff I need to do and the new baby but it's will be built.
Thanks for the offer, I may take you up on it sometime as the wife usually tells me to go bleep myself when I ask her to help.

I've got my year end bonus, my monthly bonus, and taxes to spend so the tranny, brakes, sportlines, rear rebulid, and tires will be done in January. The motor build will start after that stuff is finished. I won't be dropping in the new motor till everything else is done. Since right now my alt is dead, that'll be the first thing to buy just incase my wife needs to drive it to work here and there.

Who knows. I want it done now but I would rather have all these awesome parts on it first. I think I'll have it done this summer when it's warm again.
