Pulling a Traviz
Well I ordered my Sportlines today for 195 shipped. I took off my A arms to be replaced with some nice Spohn pieces. My Z06 brakes should be on next month. So finally I'm making progress. I still need to do my manual swap as this 700 is leaking from the front seal, rear seal, and cooling lines.

Nice, that is a deal.
I wish I had Sportlines in the rear.
How much are those ZO6 brakes?
What's the benefit of these A-arms?
Think you'll be manual by spring time?
That's all I got.

It will be manual by spring, should be the end of January.
I got the Z06 calipers for $150 from a gm dealer on ebay motors (red powder coat). The rest of the stuff I'm getting from Bigbrakeupgrade.com, I can't remember how much the rest of it is, I think aound $650ish.
The motor hasn't even been ran since after that gtg at Bennies.
I'm doing the K member when I do the motor as I need new mounts anyway.
BTW, only a really bad driver can flip a thirdgen (cough, Travis, cough)

I have some extra rear Sportline springs in my garage if you want to try them out on your car. Don't mean to hijack the thread (oops, too late I see).
I would love to try them out actually.
The gap drives me crazy, uneven at that for some reason.

But yeah, I could ship them, or drop them off next time I'm in the area.

Why didn't you like the rears? Too stiff?
I have my suspension right where I want it, so I'm thinking if I swapped these I'd need to reset the pinion angle and an alignment I'm guessing.
Next time you're around man, no hurry or need to ship.
Just let me know what you want for them.

Well I got my Sportlines today and sold the pro kit. I'm heading to Summit tomorrow to get some front control arm bushings ( decided that other than weight savings, the tubular A arms weren't worth $400). So it'll be back on the ground this weekend ( it's been on stands for about 3 weeks). I sold the driveshaft to make way for the ls1 shaft. I'm thinking of selling my rims for some Centerline Daggers, 18" ofcourse! I may even have it painted by the next gtg.

scribbles, Ellen is willing to get rid of the GTA rims on her bird for the right price (Their still in great shape, the tires have less then 100 miles on them!), but she has to have another set (any set) so that she can get them off.... The tow yard has to beable to move the car haha..... (no its not in a JYARD yet!)

I'm thinking about having a 3rd gen gtg at my house around then, we'll see.

I am thinking of just having the little scuffs repaired and having them professionally polished and keep'em.

this is the place I was gonna take them. $300($75 per rim) to fix the nicks and what not and polish them back to new condition. that also includes mount & balance. this is also the place togshitti's had fix one of them when their dumbass tire guy didn't know what he was working on and try to take the tir off with a crowbar.

I figured I would post up a little progress report on the t/a.
I went to Summit today and bought all my poly bushings as in, A arms, sway bar mounts, endlinks, Moog ball joints with es boots. I'm having the old A arm bushings pressed out/new ones in, and my ball joints pressed in tomorrow. I got my rear suspension put back together, Sportlines in, sway bar mounts/end links in.
I will have my Z06 brakes in the next week or so. I'm going back to Summit tomorrow to get an Optima battery and an alt. So this thing will be back on the ground and movable tomorrow night.
