Berlinetta or not?

I am buying my first camaro but i am a little mixed up over it. It appears to be just the standard sport coupe but the engine and transmission is came with according to thirdgen tech data says didnt come like that. Its the 2.8L V6 with Auto 4spd trans. Are there any indicators to tell me if it is or not?

Berlinetta's are not ugly, only the rims that came with them were.

If you can afford it, get it.

Is there a visual difference? I plan on putting a Xenon body kit on it in the future.

What is the grudge event?

Re: Berlinetta or not?

IIRC, they can be ordered with a V6 or V8. They are the luxury version of the Camaro and usually say Berlinetta on the front, sides and rear bumper. They also tend to have gold trim on the rear taillight and sometimes the fog lights. The '84-'86 models have a unique dash and radio which would be almost impossible to over look. Mine was missing a rear sway bar and triangular bracing common on other Thirdgens as well. But looking at the White book it says that Berlinettas have an "S" in the 5th digit of the VIN.
